General Duty (GD)
1. A degree with first class from a recognized institution. 2. Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to Intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed graduation after the diploma, are also eligible, provided they possess an aggregate of 55% marks in the diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.

Technical (Mechanical)
1) B.E in Naval Architecture or Mechatronics or Industrial and Production or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Metallurgy or Design Aeronautical or Aerospace with a minimum 60% aggregate marks from a recognized university OR Equivalent recognized by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section ‘A’ and ‘B’ and their associate membership examination (AMIE). 2) Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed graduation after the diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in the diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.

Technical(Electrical/ Electronics)
1) B.E/B. Tech in Electrical or Electronics or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Telecommunication or Electronics and Communication or Power Engineering or Power Electronics with a minimum 60% aggregate marks from a recognized institution OR Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognized by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section ‘A’ and ‘B’ and their associate membership examination (AMIE). 2) Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics.
