IB ACIO-II / Exe Exam Pattern and Syllabus

IB has released the official notification for the recruitment of Associate Central Intelligence Officer, Grade – II / Executive i.e ACIO – II / Exe posts. There is a huge vacancy of 995 posts. IB ACIO – II / Exe Selection Process

The selection process for the recruitment of Associate Central Intelligence Officer, Grade – II / Executive i.e  ACIO – II / Exe involves Three stages,

  • Written Examination Tier – I
  • Written Examination Tier – II
  • Interview (Tier – III)

Written Examination Tier – I 

  • This examination will be conducted online
  • This examination consists of objective-type MCQs for 100 marks
  • The duration of the examination is 1 hour
  • There is a negative mark for every wrong answer.1/4th of the mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
  • The exam pattern for the Written examination Tier I is as follows,

Written Examination Tier – II 

  • Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the Tier I written exam (Candidate should have scored minimum cut-off)
  • Total number of candidates shortlisted for Tier – II will be 10 times the number of vacancies.
  • This examination consists of descriptive-type questions for 50 marks
  • The duration of the examination is 1 hour

Candidates should secure minimum of 33% (17 out of 50 marks ) in Tier – II.

Interview 

  • Candidates will be shortlisted based on their combined performance in the Tier I & Tier – II written exam.
  • Total number of candidates shortlisted for interview will be 5 times the number of vacancies.
  • Candidates may be subjected to Psychometric / Aptitude test which will be a part of the interview.
